Today is March 15, which is known as the Ides of March. I remember learning about the Ides of March back in my high school latin class almost ten years ago. Ok that's scary, to think it's almost been ten years since high school. Crazy! They say that March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb, but experiencing my first March in Scotland has been anything but typical. Winter is definitely fighting a good battle with spring and has been showing it's ugly face at us in Edinburgh this month. Since returning from Barcelona two weeks ago the weather has been continually changing from sunshine, to rain, to hail, and this past weekend to snow. I am over winter, simply said. My craving for sunlight, vitamin d, and tan skin is driving me crazy, but am trying to remember spring is right around the corner.
Thankfully I get to celebrate one of my favorite holiday's this week, St. Patrick's Day. In less than 48 hours, I will be traveling to Dublin, Ireland to partake in the St. Patrick's Day festival. I love spending this holiday with friends and can't wait to see what Dublin has to offer. One of my stops on the mini holiday is the Guinness Factory, so I am anxious to see how it will compare to my recent Heineken Experience this past December. Have any readers out there been to Dublin? Any fun suggestions for me? Only two more work days to go! Until next time, I will see you on the internet.
